| Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County was established by a youth organization in 1995. Youth Leadership Butler consists of selected high school juniors representing every school district in Butler County. The members of Youth Leadership Butler, class of 1993, chose to implement the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Butler County as their class project. These members organized meetings with community leaders and established a Board of Directors. By the summer of 1995, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County was established.
