CHAMBER AMBASSADORS:
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE, RETENTION COMMITTEE
& VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE

Be one of the first Chamber members to meet and orient new members and business people. Be an honored guest at exciting events throughout Andover. Help us increase the Chamber’s representation of the business community through recruitment of new members of the business community through recruitment of new members and retention of existing members. If you want to work hands-on to meet potential Chamber members who may also be sales leads for you, plan to attend the next meeting of the Chamber Ambassadors.

Chamber Ambassadors are a volunteer group of Andover Chamber of Commerce members. The overall purpose of the Ambassador program to recruit new members, help orient the newest Chamber members and to assist staff with membership retention.

To accomplish these goals, the Ambassadors are divided into three committees: Membership, Retention, and Volunteer.

Membership Committee:
The Membership committee directly assists Chamber staff with ongoing recruitment efforts. Attend groundbreakings, grand openings and ribbon cuttings as official Chamber representatives to promote and support member businesses.

Retention Committee:
Retention committee personally visit and survey Chamber members on an annual basis. The surveys give members input on Chamber programs and improve the Chamber’s ability to serve its members. Attend groundbreakings, grand openings and ribbon cuttings as official Chamber representatives to promote and support member businesses. Serve as greeters and hosts at networking events and other membership functions to identify affiliation with the Chamber at all places of business.

Volunteer Committee:
The Volunteer committee will work with both the Junior Ambassador and Senior Ambassador groups to promote community and business volunteerism.

Membership in the Chamber Ambassador is open to any member of the Andover Chamber of Commerce. All Ambassadors meet the third Wednesday of the month.
