In 2019, the Chamber Board of Directors determined to move to a tiered structure of investment for the membership. The theory is not all membership is alike and their investment should not be either. It is not a one sized fits all.
All nonprofits and home-based businesses are eligible for each tier.
This structure is as follows:
Being a member with the Andover Chamber of Commerce can increase positive perception among customers and other businesses. According to a study by the Shapiro Group, 59% of consumers think that being active in the local chamber is an effective business strategy overall.
By investing in the Andover Area Chamber of Commerce, your business is eligible for a 2-3 minute video about your business. Members are randomly drawn. This is a benefit the Chamber provides to give your business exposure on social media, our website and our e-news. The value on this benefit can exceed $1500. We thank ONTAP MEDIA LLC for producing these videos for us.
The Andover Area Chamber of Commerce works on referrals of any member business through our website online directory 24/7. The office receives over 50 calls a month pertaining to business referrals. MEMBERSHIP INVESTORS are referred FIRST. If your business is referred, you will receive notification from the Chamber.
Bring your printed materials to the Chamber and display in the kiosk. Visitors come to review and take materials. We also display business cards for people to take when they need a business.
Have your remodeled, moved or are you a new business? The Chamber Ambassadors will provide a ribbon cutting for your business and contact local media to publicize your ribbon cutting event. The Ambassadors will also host a ground breaking ceremony if you are building new construction.
A full list of membership investors of the Andover Area Chamber of Commerce is on our website through the Business Directory and in a printed directory . The printed directory is given to new residents, new business to area, visitors and will be given to some businesses to distribute.
The online directory works for the membership 24/7 and is searchable by business name or by the category. All visits to a business profile is counted within the Chamber website and that count can be accessed through the business profile on the membership information center.
Be up to date on happenings within the Chamber, businesses and community in the weekly e-newsletters. Members in good standing can submit sales, promotions and other items to the Chamber office by Thursday morning of each week in order to be included in the blasts. All email blasts go out on Friday.
The Chamber strives to limit the number of emails sent to the membership. These e-news provide important Chamber information (not just events) to help you and your business plus see what other businesses are doing to make their business grow and to gain exposure.
The Andover Chamber has numerous committees, meetings and events that provides networking opportunities as well as personal and professional growth. By getting involved, you can build your resources while learning and growing yourself, which grows the business community in the Andover area.
