Meet the Board of Directors


Steve Shook - Board Chair:  Coming to the Chamber as the owner of Music Scene in Andover, Steve has been an active member in the Chamber for 6+ years. Steve is currently in his second term on the Chamber board.

Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Sparks - Board Vice Chair:  Dr. Sparks is the owner of Sparks Eye Care on the south end of Andover. She is beginning her second term on the board, has been involved in several Chamber coffee events and serves on the Women's conference committee.

Michelle Ruder - Board Past Chair: Michelle is a trainer and an educator. She is the Director of the Business Education & Training Analysis division at Butler Community College at the Andover campus.

Kathy Walter - Board Treasurer: Kathy is the Executive Director for Flinthills Services with a satellite office in Andover. Kathy resides in the community and has become active in several community events. As treasurer, her knowledge of budgeting and forecasting is an asset to the Board and staff.

Kyle Fritzler - Board Secretary:  Kyle comes to the Chamber from one of our major manufacturing industries in Andover. The Chamber is excited to have a manufacturing perspective on the Board of Directors. Kyle is also a member of the Business Support & Development Committee of the Chamber.

Briana Gallegos - Rodan+Fields: Briana owns a home-based business in the Andover community. She lives in the community and has a knowledge of the business community in which the Chamber serves. Briana is a member of the Ambassador Committee of the Chamber.

Brian Cook - Andover State Bank: Brian is the Assistant Retail Manager for Andover State Bank. He has lived and worked in the Andover community for several years and the Chamber is excited to have him serving on the Board.  He is also a member of our Business Support & Development Committee.

Carmen Trissal - Facial Expressions: Just beginning her second year on the Board, Carmen brings another service and retail perspective to the Chamber. Her enthusiasm and energy is catching! She has recently gone through a major move and complete renovation in her new spa. Carmen also serves on the Women's Conference Committee of the Chamber.

Terry Rombeck - Andover Public Schools: Terry is new to the Chamber this year, replacing Sherame Kneisel as USD 385's representation on the board.  As Communications Director for the school, Terry brings with him a valuable skill set to the board.

Chris Myers - Myers Automotive: Chris joined the board this year to serve out the term of a vacated seat.  As a local business owner, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to the table.



Leah Doshier - Terradyne Country Club: Leah is new to the board and will be serving the remaining term of a vacated seat.  Her energy and leadership will be a welcome addition to the board.

David North - Flint Hills National Golf Club: David is newer to the area and had become involved in a few Chamber events. When asked to serve on the Chamber Board, he readily agreed and is just beginning his third year on the Board. David also serves as the Chair for the Business Support & Development Committee.

Roth Christopherson - Bob & Luigi's: Newly elected to the Board, Roth brings a fresh perspective as a local restaurant owner.  He has also recently joined our Ambassador Committee and looks forward to being an active participant of the Chamber.

Dusty Buell - Sunlight Children Advocacy Rights Foundation:  As a new director of SCARF, Dusty comes to the area with an intense nonprofit background. He is serving his first term as a Board of Director for the Andover Area Chamber of Commerce.

Shane Loy - Andover YMCA: Shane is the director of the Andover YMCA and has been in Andover for 7 years. Shane brings to the Chamber many years of nonprofit experience and his knowledge of the Andover area, businesses and residents.
